We are going online! Bus tours and large gatherings indoors are canceled, but that doesn't mean you have to miss the sights and sounds of cranes.
Instead, we invite you to join us from your cozy living room for an online festival. For just $15.00 you and your family can join us online Friday, March 12th at 7Pm. The online videos pre-recorded, approximately 2-hour online event. Included in your ticket you can watch the entire presentation or individual videos, on-demand through March 17th. It will feature a “Cranes of the World” presentation by crane naturalist Sandra Noll; a presentation by professional photographer Ed MacKerrow on wildlife and landscapes of the San Luis Valley; short video productions about cranes and SLV issues as well as short interviews with refuge staff and local community members. Tickes are avaiable on mvcranefest.org or on Facebook - Monte Vista Crane Festival. The public areas of the refuge will be open while the cranes are in the San Luis Valley. If you do visit the Valley we ask you to protect yourself and our community by socially distance yourself and wear your mask, the things you have been doing to keep yourself and others around you healthy. If you have any questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a message at 719-289-7522.
